INTRODUCTORY COMMENT
St Joseph's School is an integrated Catholic Primary School for girls and boys from Year 1 to Year 8 offering education with a special character.
As a member of St Joseph's School family, each child will work at his or her particular stage of development and mature educationally, socially and spiritually from that stage in an environment based on Christian Values and Catholic tradition.
It is our intention to:
- Provide situations which focus on Christian Values.
- Provide opportunity for successful achievement in all curriculum areas regardless of ability.
- Develop leadership, initiative and reliability through valuable broad educational experiences.
- Develop and foster interaction between the school and the community.
Our school has as its specific duty the Christian formation of its students. We work with the knowledge that this Christian formation is part of a life-long process until the child becomes what God wishes him or her to be. We also work with the knowledge that we cannot adequately fulfil this role on our own, but need the support of parents and the whole Catholic community.
