giving a reason for the absence on the answer phone (688-1376) before

ACTIVITY CONTRIBUTION
The 2011 Activity Contribution has been set at $12.50 per term per child
i.e. $50 for the year.
While the Activity Contribution is not compulsory, it covers the cost of
such things as visiting cultural or performing groups, some class
expenses, RE digital resource, transport to swimming and the End of
Year Mass and copying expenses.
The Religious Education digital resource is a new resource provided to
schools. The resource includes children's activity pages and interactive
digital lessons. Parents are asked to subsidise the cost of this resource.
It is tax deductible. Check the IRD website for details on tax rebates.
It should be noted that this figure may not cover all costs that will arise
during a year. Individual class or syndicate activities (e.g. camps, ski
trips etc) will be charged separately.
In addition the Board of Trustees and the School Community Group
often meet the costs of a number of activities which will enhance your
child/children's education.
Cheques should be made payable to
St Joseph's School
.
